rachel planned her own birthday party this year. it was a fun dinner party that unfortunately rob missed out on because he was sick.

6 months

if you are looking at these photos thinking to yourself, "wow, that kid's head is growing out of proportion to his body!" you would be correct. i took him for his 6 month check up... 17lbs, 8oz, which is the 50th percentile, 70th percentile for length and 90th percentile for head circumference. not too alarming unless you know that his head was in the 10th percentile at his first week appointment. that's right, his noggin has gone from the 10th percentile to the 90th in 6 months. i have to take him back in 6 weeks to make sure that it starts slowing down. i am just thankful that i didn't birth a 90th percentile head!

these pictures were a little challenging to take. cedar has become obsessed with lucca and i could not get him to smile at the camera because he just wanted to watch her.
