Florida // part 1

We had a wonderful spring break trip to Florida. We learned quickly that although we are allowed to bring Cedar on the plane without buying a ticket, he is far from an ideal "lap child." Luckily on the way our flight wasn't full and he had his own seat. (The flight back was another story.) He had a great week and adjusted well to the 3 hr time change and the sudden onset of a heat rash, which surprisingly started in Colorado. We enjoyed time at the pool, time at the beach and meals with my grandparents. Cedar didn't like the pool as much as we thought he would, but he warmed up to the ocean and the sand. He loved watching the birds and went on many walks with Grandpa to find lizards. We are surprised that our little boy didn't come home round and blue after all the blueberries he ate all week. There is no shortage of antioxidants in his little body.

Cedar give hugs only when he feels like it, which isn't very often... a voluntary hug for Papa was a sweet surprise.

I stole some of these photos from Jake... here is the link to all his photos from the week:

Florida // part 2

Cedar thinks that a pat on the head is a form of affection for humans as well as dogs. Addie and Eli don't always appreciate it.

We all had a chance to try paddle boarding!
