Snow

3 inches of snow brings out some good grammar from the 2 year old. I tried to keep him from seein the snow outside until at least 7:30. As soon as he sees the snow he finds his boots and insists on going out. No one above the age of 5 wants to play in the snow when it is still dark. At 7:30 when he first looked outside " SNOW!!! Let's dig some snow mom, get boots, dig snow." After playing in the back for a while... "Probably go to the other back," meaning he wants to play in the front yard. And after eating quite a bit of snow, "These snows are gooood." After falling face first in the snow and Imogene awake from her nap we brought the snow inside.

imogene *•* 6 months

This is Cedar trying to hold Imogene.

Look at that arm to head ratio!

This girl has a great smile and a great laugh.

Imogene at 6 months:

• Has only fully rolled over one time a few nights ago. She rolls halfway, gets stuck and is content laying on her side. She just isn't motivated enough to figure out how to get that bottom arm out of the way.
• "Content" is the best word to describe Imogene.
• She still loves her exersaucer and her toys that Cedar loves to bring her.
• She has started smiling and laughing at Cedar rather than giving him the "please don't kick me in the face" look.
• She loves sitting up and has a good solid base for it.
• First food: sweet potatoes a few days ago. Unlike Cedar was, this girl looks anxious to eat. After one attempt a feeding from a spoon she is already opening her mouth. Look out groccery bill!
• We has some regression in her sleep habits. Between her and Cedar we had a few sleepless nights, but it seems to be improving and we are all sleeping better at night. Now for naps that are longer than 30 minutes... I guess I'd rather have the better sleep at night.
