budget kitchen makeover

we (rob) replaced our peachy tile countertops with some inexpensive laminate ones from ikea and put up a corrugated steel backsplash. we love the results and don't miss the hard to clean grout or peach color at all. i'm not sure we will ever have a home project that would not be labeled "budget makover", but this one was definitely one of the cheaper ones! rob did a great job with all parts of it... now to the next thing on our list.

Finally I found a project like what I have in mind! We're buying a house that has a rather gloomy boring kitchen, and I think the corrugated could be just the thing! I would love to read more about the process and supplies involved! Thanks!

Can you tell me how hard that the tin was to put up around the receptacles? I appreciate any feedback...I am at sarah.casdorph@scacwv.org. THANKS
