We took Cedar on a hike for Mother's Day. He hiked almost two miles on his own and got a ride on Rob's shoulders for the last bit. He loved walking on the trail and climbing on the rocks and only threw two fits... one when we turned around (he is very stubborn when it comes to directions) and one when we tried to stop for a picnic dinner. What kid doesn't stop for a snack??? Cedar is a better hiker than some of the high school kids we have taken backpacking. We ended up bringing dinner home because there was no stopping this kid.
